User Guide:

Product Description:

KoverTek G-40 Multiseal is a moisture-hardening polyurethane with a light straw translucent color.
It forms a tough, highly durable, non-porous seal on most porous materials.
Suitable for surfaces containing moisture, but the surface must be dry enough for the product to penetrate and obtain a mechanical grip.
Can be used in poor application conditions with temperatures down to 0°C and in areas of high humidity.

Applications:

Damp Walls and Floors: Seals dampness in concrete, brick, stone, and wood.
Concrete Floors: Consolidates dusty and worn concrete floors, ideal for factories, warehouses, and garages.
Floor Preparation: Seals concrete floor screeds and smooths surfaces before laying tiles or other floor coverings.
Garden Ponds: Seals ponds, making them waterproof and easy to clean. Prevents lime from leaching into the water.

Surface Preparation:

Remove all existing coatings.
Replace loose pointing in brick walls.
Repair cracked and worn areas in floors.
Ensure the substrate is dry enough to be porous for maximum penetration.

Application:

Apply with a brush or roller.
For most dampproofing, three coats are recommended.
Each coat can be applied as soon as the previous coat is finger tacky.
Apply each coat within 4 hours of the previous coat for good adhesion.
For walls being re-plastered or screeded, "blind" the last coat with dry-sharp sand while the product is still wet.

Coverage and Hardening Times:

Refer to the product packaging for specific consumption rates and hardening times.
Full mechanical hardness is achieved after 24 hours, and chemical cure after 72 hours.

Use protective gloves and a face mask or breathing equipment in enclosed areas.
Keep away from heat, sparks, and sources of ignition.
